i want this deal, but i live in the bay area. i'm interested in the digital edge pacbell service, but if i get the 8290 from them it'll cost me like $200. is there any way i can get this deal without having to go all the way over there? because i can't

dude: thanks for the info. i'll bring it by a pacbell store sometime to see if they can fix it for me. everytime i get near the vicinity of monterey park, my phone starts to work flawlessly.

btw, anyone know of any nice faceplates for the nokia 6190 (and cheap online stores to order cell accessories)? my aftermarket one that came with the phone is getting pretty messed up.
