Might go for the Nomad...does it work as an external USB hard drive on macs and pc's? Or is it strictly for mp3 use? I know it would be a rather slow hard drive, but I like the ability to transfer stuff between macs and pc's, and if it can't be firewire, usb's the next best thing. Anyone know if there are any alternative firmware's for this thing? When the Archos device was on sale the other week people talked about that Rockbox firmware upgrade for it.
Also, that Samsonite Worldproof 1.2 camera case is the same one (different colors, though) that I use for my Canon A70. Camera fits in there with room to spare, even if I have the shoulder strap tucked inside the case, and the front pocket is big enough for a spare set of batteries and another CF card or two.
