IIRC, there's a pressure component in oxygen ventilators, at least can be, to force oxygen into diseased alveoli. Yeah, sounds iffy to me. Look it up.

Bars and night clubs still open in Wichita if you really need a fix for clubbing. Well there are a few other states besides Kansas with open bars but I can't find any as cool as Kansas. I'm in San Diego CA where I live and want to get out of here for a few days to go clubbing.

So legally someone can get on a commercial plane and fly from California to Kansas, right? I mean are they going to stop a person at the airport here in San Diego and prevent them from going on board to Kansas for the purpose of a sightseeing vacation?

I have money, I'm retired and I can't even be permitted to hop on a plane to Wichita? Idk the answer and I don't want to wind up in the news if I go to the airport to find out. It's stay-at-home orders but no articles about people flying from San Diego to Kansas for pleasure and not business.

edit - And don't want to go into a 2 week isolation on my return flight. So not going to fly outside the US where there are still some wide open night clubs.

Though I do wonder if a delivery driver falls under essential services as there is an exception for that when it comes to the 14 day self quarantine... I would not think so but it might potentially be his defense.

Your own link says the restriction went into effect on March 21st, long after he returned. Also, there are a ton of exceptions for travel to America. In addition to that, it said people were being "asked" to self isolate for 14 days. It didn't say they were being required to.

Trying to get this guy fined half a million dollars over 2 days doesn't sound very prudent.

I think at certain point, we need to ask ourselves and start having conversations about how much do we let this fear of the virus control us. We all need to get back to work at some point or else there won't be an economy to go back to work even if we're healthy.

I think the curve will be flattened here in the US, but we still have a long way to go until that happens. People are still out and about and acting like idiots. Certain states like New York and California are going to be hit pretty brutally. All non-interstate travel should be banned at the moment IMO, unless it already has been banned?

Italy and Spain are starting to show signs of flattening their curves. South Korea is still kicking ass. There are many rays of hope within the data.

This virus isn't going anywhere anytime soon, but lessening the burden on hospitals is going to make a world of difference.

Also, random tidbit: Apparently losing your sense of taste and smell are telltale signs of having the virus. I currently have a cold that I caught from my kids, but my farts are still as pungent as ever, so hopefully that's a good yet unpleasant sign.

I don't miss drinking, my Indica makes me more set then any beer ever could. Beer and stuff not agreeing with me anyways so its like my body says no to like it. Shame as i used to like drinking but i don't miss it as long as i got the Indica. You find me a stoner who got stupid, got into a car and killed someone. No such thing as a hangover either. Nothing gets rid of my pain,anxienty and helps me sleep better then Indica as well. Beer and stuff ends up causing me NOT to sleep, among other things.

I avoid anything not natural in form,i have some insane reactions to most medication. I rather be so high off a $10 Hubby bar/ Bunker buster that i forget my name on the second day then have a $10 6 pack of Stella, get a 4 hour buzz and deal with all that non sense that comes with that. Bang for buck is certainly in weeds favor, its like why even bother with beer?

I would so support society as a whole getting rid of the sauce for mj, i really would. This should be EVERYWHERE. All about that big pharmacy making that buck, thats WHY its not everywhere yet.

I get that from time to time on their videos, mostly.

It's that story, yes: as i said in a previous post, if IOC and Japan think they'll have Olympics this year, they're deluding themselves.

Actually, there's a risk it won't be held next year either, depending on how grave the economic consequences of dealing with this virus actually become.

I found this part of the article interesting. This is the eventual talk the rest of the world will need to start thinking about and planning.

Yes, but they are saying that many people had no other symptoms than loss of smell/taste so that's a good sign someone needs to self isolate or get tested.
