I thought all the Fat file systems had a limit of 4 GB? You had to format as NTFS to use the higher than 4 GB?
FAT32 is limited to 4GB. ExFAT is not.

Is there a way to re-download the Nook app or is there a better one for my 10 year old to download/buy books with?
Thanks

Right. So you format in exfat.
But when I actually used it to transfer a file larger than 4gb, it would crap out around the 4gb mark, resulting in a system error.
picked mine up from the PO this afternoon but was away this evening and didn't get to mess with it until now.
Going through and setting it up now. It's a few updates to download for the stock B&N software.
It looks nice, no scratches, dents, marks, etc. looks brand new.
The guide says that it won't charge when connected to a PC, but the orange charge light was on when I had it connected...
not sure what the hole in the bottom left is for? a lanyard maybe? or some other accessory?
Initial setup is easy.
You still legally owe the tax on your income tax return.
so who has a quick and easy guide to backing up the B&N software and then rooting it?
Is it better to do that or to install an image to an sd card and boot from that instead?

This is what I used.
