And yes, CVS did buy Ekcerds, but kept a lot open under the Eckerds name and is even building new ones in my area.

CVS didn't get every Eckerd store. All stores in the southern states were acquired by CVS. The ones in the northeast region were purchased by John Coutu (Brooks Pharmacy). Don't expect this deal to be found @ CVS. All CVS owned 'Eckerd' stores will be rebranded (if they already haven't been) with the CVS logo and accompanying merchandise.

Having said that, definitely a hot deal for a quality shaver!

Pretty good deal. I actually just got the Braun 8585 (I think that's the model) for $70 from Kohl's because of a manager screw up. If I didn't get that, I'd try to get in on this.

Or you could just see the price when it comes up at the register and say, I decided I dont want it anymore if its the higher price. Unless you like standing in line for customer service and having to wait while they do the return crap.

The responses would seem to indicate its alive everywhere at any Eckerds that still have any stock left.
