North/south bridge air cooling and heatsinks where can i get?

Im looking into a new barton 2500 and i want to take it as far as possible so i was thinking a nice heatsink/fan combo for my north and southbridge while probablly uneccesary would still not be a bad idea, i was wondering where i can find some bad a$$ ones at a reasonable price

I use an slk900-u heatsink so im just curious if i would be able to AS thermal adhesive this heatink and fan to my northbrdige i wanna say, whichever is closest to my processor, also would passive cooling be enough on the southbridge shooting for 240+ fsb btw

I'm not too experienced with overclocking, but it is my understanding that a HS on the SB is not really required because the SB doesn't heat up much even when you overclock. Of course this may depend on whether you have PCI/AGP locks in your bios since those run through the SB. But it's the NB that handles processor/memory access and can get pretty hot.

Note: Not to say that you can't put a HS on the SB, just that you're probably better off with a passive solution like Zalman's NB23J.

You'd probably be best off with a cheapo (though try for a ball bearing fan) socket 7 heatsink. Maybe a local computer shop would have one for sale, or just laying around for the trash. More than like $3 for one would be too much. That one linked to would be too big, and it's just excessive for such a small chip.

so something smaller eh, well the chepest they have is like 5.00$ online and as far as comp stores around me none really carry anything "out of date" the reason i chose that one is i beleive its copper and id like to have a copper heatsink on it regardless of size, even if its overkill you think itll fit, and its not gonna hinder the cooling in any way right?

Nexfan has this 50mm hsf on sale for $2. that would work very well on the NB. You'd have to use thermal epoxy or drill holes and use small bolts. For the SB that Zalman is good.

I got the Vantec Iceberq CCB-A1C chipset kit for my 8RDA+. It works great and looks way cool. I just put the HS on the SB.

I would recommend just going to some surplus electronics store and buy some cheap heatsinks or rummage through an old computer. Allcorp.com also has some. Then just buy some thermal adhesive. Theoretically, if you can get a thin enough layer of super glue, it would work too.
