Hi, I have a DFI AK76-SN(AMD 761) motherboard that I bought about a year ago. Lately the northbridge fan has been making a lot of weird noises. It's hard to decribe but it's louder than my hsf. Do I really need the northbridge fan? I don't overclock nor do I have any plans to. Also, has anybody here had any experience with the SVC GC68 cooler? I recently installed one but the only way I could get it to snap down was by using pliers to bend the clip. My friend cut his finger trying to get that thing clipped down. Now I have to use a screw to brace the cooler against psu so it'll be in full contact with the cpu. Is there any way I can get a replacement clip or is there any way I can get the heatsink to go down fully without the screw?
Any help would be appreciated!
