she's from toronto. it's apparently -32 degrees (w/ chill factor)

My accent broken down:
(percentages indicate the lengths of times spent in those places during my life). The english accent only comes out once in a while... it rears it head in full force when talkin to someone from England, otherwise its repressed/forgotten

50% cockney english
10% Long Island, NY
30% Boston, massachusetts
10% Providence, rhode island

Hoping to move to Cali in the near future if i can

Yeah, everyone else has an accent but you.

Whats wrong with having New England speech? I am damn proud of my Bahstin accent! Ben Affleck said it best, "The Boston accent is more of an attitude than an accent. Underneath everything you say has to be the attitude of: You're an a$$hole, I know better than you, fvck you."

We don't come off that way, now do we???

Heh it's funny, lived in Michigan all my life but can drive 15 mins to Canada and have friends there comment on our accent. We're like what accent, we're from the Midwest.

You just don't notice it because you're used to it. You do, though. ESPECIALLY if you're in Eastern Ohio... you're bordering on Pittsburghese.

It doesn't affect everyone, but it's there.

When I was in college, I would always find accents amusing. Because during the day,
most people's accent were very repressed, but as night came, and people got drunk/tired
the accent would rise to the surface, and be much more obvious.

Hmm the only places in MI I have hung out at were Ann Arbor and Detroit and they pronounced about correctlty.

I go fishing in Canada 3 times a year in Ontario and Manitoba all pronouce about like "abuut"

They also follow every sentence using "Eh"

They also pronounce Semi like this Seme with a long E sound kinda hilarious.

The first time I went to canada thier accent reminds me of a combination of Irish and British languages.

Yeah, you have to go further north (closer to Canada ) before you start really hearing "aboot" in MI.
