Hi,
A quick question about Ghost 2003 that I hope someone can help me out with.
Basically what I'm wondering is can Ghost 2003 be used with a RAID array? I've heard that it CAN, it's just not supported by Symantec. I'm using the onboard Promise Lite RAID controller on my GA-8IHXP, and I basically want to create an image of my data which is currently residing on two WD SE 80GB drives in RAID-0. Then (if this is possible) I'll hopefully back it up onto another drive, and either re-create my RAID array with a larger stripe size, or else buy a new RAID card and then put the image onto the new array.
However, I'm not sure if that can be done either. Is the image dependent on the stripe configuration of the RAID array? I mean, if I make a new array with a larger stripe size, will I be able to copy the old image onto it?
Sorry, I have no experience at all with drive imaging and these types of things, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
