I've only had OEM versions, and each has been a 1-year subscription.

When I got Antivirus 2003 OEM, it only came with a 90 day AV. Still a good deal though

Tried the download but it checked expiration date and would not install.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the 2004 products start the activation scheme. I wonder if we will still see all of the these OEM disks on sale for practically nothing. Sometimes I wonder if these OEMs are pirated. This may be what Symantec is going after with their activation scheme.

When my 2002 OEM subscription expired, I could no longer download antivirus updates. Uninstall/reinstall did not help. Anyone else know anything about downloading updates for free and installing them manually after subscription expires?

The CD will not install... the updates are a royal pain. Should have known. CD is worthless.

Do not buy this CD it is a royal pain to uninstall.
