There is another web site with Norton Systems works for $10.00

I'm not sure of the vendor AND it didn't mention whethor or not it came with 1 yr updates for the Antivirus.

I ordered it anyway, i'll report back in a couple of days.

If this software is OEM, then how can they sell it sans hardware?

I thought that the OEM license prevented selling software in this manner.....

i said + shipping, meaning shipping is extra. not free.

when you select "Ground" it comes up as free shipping. Any other way and you have to pay.

Nice find, you beat my deal of $11 with free shipping here. I got mine pretty fast, although they originally sent me just Nortons antivirus, I emailed them and told them there was a problem, and wanted NSW pro. The next day, they sent it out for me, will get it tomorrow probably.

This seems to be about the going price on flea-bay. Some of the vendors there have better feedback when compared to this place. So, there are other places to get them for the same price. Still this is a good price if you do get what you're supposed to from them. They're negative feedback would keep me from ordering from them anyway.

How are they *legally* selling this "OEM" software? Is it not OEM? I'm interested..but I want to ensure it is legit....

OK, i ordered multiple copies of the NAV and a couple of copies of Systemworks from these guys. all were delivered AS promised.

i'm going to be installing one of the NAV's on my laptop tonite. will report back.

i'm not convinced that it is OEM. nothing on the discs indicate OEM. however, like with the other vendor and deal that was posted earlier, there is NO serial number, i'm guessing that is generated when you go online and start getting the updates.

BUT, if you go online and are able to register the copy and get updates i guess that's good enough.

Just installed a copy of NAV that i bought from this web site for $8.00, 1 year of updates. subscription info came up says installed (today's date) good to (1 year from today).

It is a good deal fellas.

I got Norton Pro off the $11 deal. I suspect these CDs are not oem because they are part of the DRM/Digital-rights-management test Symantec is running now on Norton Antivirus 2003.
Mine wants to talk to Verisign every time I boot(Kerio firewall caught that), and while testing a disk in two different computers it popped up with something like shame on you one computer one copy. Might have been coincidence but the installation went bad then and I couldn't remove or reinstall. There is a lengthy procedure to manually uninstall on the Symantec site, but it is long. I just copied a ghost backup onto the disk and it worked okay. No big deal really, but I don't really like something calling home without letting me know.
