Not a hot deal, about amazon gold box

What's with all the "Not a hot deal" lately????

I was glad to learn about gold box deal. Though I have yet to find something fantastic myself. Still holding out hope for cheap DVDs.

waa waa waah!!!! This is a stupid gold box thread thats taking a whole line up from my HOT Deals that could be telling me about a hot deal on socks. when will the craziness end?

I saw the threads on the cheap D-40 digital camera. Didn't get it in my goldbox.. but the next offer was a handheld/automotive Garmin GPS that I was also interested in and got a great deal. -$234 in additional savings.

One good deal lead to another.

I just saw a thread that says that it will work for probably less than ten ATers and nobody is complaining. I'm sure that more than ten people got the camera. Whiners. Here is the thread.

This is as stupid as all the people whining about the BVG deals that were so popular a while ago.
Just put Gold Box in the title, and if you're feelin' lucky read it and hope, if you don't like Gold Box, THEN MOVE ON TO THE NEXT THREAD!!
Jeez, people, it's not like we're workin' on the cure for cancer here.....

ahem...

I don't want to be off topic... but I saw the camera thread, it made me aware of the gold box.
Now, how do I activate it? It said to order something, I did [browsed through amazon and got several books about Go and the 3rd edition of the New hackers dictionnary (a fun read)] but it still tell me to shop when I try to open the gold box again...
I even received an email from amazon telling me "we just notices that you mae your first order..." and still the gold box tell me to shop.

Do I need to wait until the order goes through the bank?

another question: it's a bit late, but what if I used several windows account to order on each one a single item, would I have then one gold boxes per account? I guess so... unless the gold box offer is based on the home adress?
