Never heard of the Woo school of health, though its really just cell senescence. Every part of your body probably has the capability of living to 120 or so if you are genetically normal. But life ain't easy. Surgery, diet, overwork, lack of exercise, accidents, injury, certain drugs etc. all probably contribute to shortening health/life. As does probably getting sick often. You get worn down. Thats all there is to it.
If i am not mistaken, cells cannot on average divide more than about 50 times. It has something to do with shortening telomeres in the dna. And some parts of our bodies are renewed at an extreme rate while other parts are renewed more slowly. The cells that line the intestines and stomach are renewed the most and fastest if i am not mistaken(It is old data). I think on average, a human gets about 300 grams of new cells in the digestive system every day. Do note that you do not dump 300 grams of flesh every day. The human body is very good at recycling.
Personally, i think the human body could live a lot older if we could synthesize, recycle and maintain the essential nutrients that we now need to take in every day. It is proven that the less you eat, the slower you degenerate.
