Well it looks like Shawn sold his costomer list to another hosting service, has anyone else recieved this Email?........
Pretty soon he'll be selling our creditcard numbers.
Glad I used Private Payments.
We have refunded the order(s) in question, to your credit card. It normally takes 4-7 business days for the Credit Card company to update your balance and show the refund.

Shawn,
I will await confirmation from 2checkout on this issue. I am sure you understand. Your word doesn't hold a lot of weight with me. If 2checkout confirms it, I will post it.
I'd like to see you pay your former "employees" in the meantime.

Here is 2checkout's statement:

Obviously I can't confirm or deny any statements made.
If refunds are made to customers who paid via credit card thru 2checkout.com, and the refund is to their credit card, it only stands to reason that the refund had to come via 2checkout.com admin panels. We never store credit card information, that is the responsibility of the payment gateway. You would need to connect the dots to figure out who would be the one funding those refunds.
If the refunds have been of the cash/ check/ money order variety, they would have been done without any knowledge (or funding) by 2checkout.com
(disclaimer)
The above is for "information purposes" on the way refunds happen using 2checkout.com, and not in any way a confirmation, denial or a discussion on, the situation regarding Cyberwings.

In other news, someone noticed that cyberwings.com doesn't resolve. The name servers have been flipped to ns1.cyberwings.com and ns2.cyberwings.com. They point to .... you will never guess ...

Prior to today, they pointed at Cogent. Given Shawn's publicly proclaimed hatred for RackShack, why do you suppose this is?

Holy cow--worse than Cyberwings?? That would be quite something. I remember I glanced at their web site (dont' even remember what company now, if there was only one) back when the offer first appeared, and it looked a lot more substantial than Cyberwings.
But I guess that just reminds us that the web is a lot like television: image sells more immediately (and too often more effectively) than substance.
As always, thanks for the update, RSG2.

So in other words, it seems that maybe Shawn himself must have hit the lottery or something and is paying people back - go figure...but wait, there's more...just when we all thought the ashes were getting cold, there's this...
