For me, delivery has been good for both, always on time, etc. its just the handling of packages which is the difference, in my opinion. USPS handles packages better then UPS.
Also a second note, Newegg ships things like printers in the actual box, how about dropping it in a seperate box? so that the shipper don't ruin the box of the original product. Plus, add the fact if UPS leaves it at the door, people will know what the package is, this increases likelihood of theft.

In this situation I would go zipzoomfly. The point is many of us shop for hotdeals, ie lowest price! So your saying if newegg carried that item for more money, but used fedex vs UPS, you would pay that premium? Many of us would not regardless of the carrier.
Amen brother. Newegg.com WAS my place for PC stuff. Now I simply use froogle and go with a known vendor that has the combined cheapest price. If newegg comes up the cheapest, great. As mentioned before, my decisions are based on price and warranty/RMA. Newegg's warranty/RMA service IMO has fallen, plus their prices are good for some things, not so good for others. One example is that Newegg has the Fortron FSP400-60GLN "Green" PSU for about $69 plus shipping while Ewiz (currently OOS and unlisted on site but they get more from time to time) sells these for $50.50 plus shipping.
Point is people will keep bumping this thread since they prefer Fedex. They have that right but equally someone can have the right to prefer a different vendor. Should they make a thread also?

NOT HOT: newegg does not ship USPS
NOT HOT: newegg does not ship DHL
NOT HOT: newegg does not ship Airbornexpress
and etc.
For people to keep bumping a thread over and over because they are upset, well I guess they have that right.
Equally though using the same mindset I find this thread "NOT HOT" because this is taking up valuable room in the hotdeals section
You're comparing shipments from two different companies though. It looks like ClubIT only ships from California. Your way over in DC. And looks like Newegg has a warehouse 'near' you in NJ. Also FedEx/UPS have hubs in different locations.Originally posted by: teddyv
My UPS order from NewEgg beat my free ClubIT Fedex by two days. Both shipments carefully packaged and delivered on time as requested by leaving on my back porch. The free ClubIT shipping made sense for the case (and a few other things that had better pricing) and the two days didn't bother me too much.

Call their lawyers? For what? Relaying stories of our bad experiences with UPS and displeasure with newegg's poor choice to make them their primary shipper?
Maybe in Iraq- not here.
Besides that, even people who didn't care about the UPS issue (if they exist) would drop newegg like a hot rock if they filed frivolous lawsuits against their complaining customers.
