The whole bundling thing is another money-making ploy nowadays. Definitely not hot, unless you want everything in that bundle, which very few people would. How much is just the core system supposed to be? $299?

299 for the core system. If you want the HDD, a wireless controller and built in wifi, it's 400.

No built in Wifi. Sorry. The MS wireless adapter is $99.99.

If you go to the store you can pre-order the $299 or $399 base system. I have a whopping $75 down on the $499 kit.

What's the difference in the prices?

The core version at $299 doesn't have a 20GB HDD, only wired pad, composite cable (component in the "normal" version), no Ethernet Cable, no Headset, no Bonus Media Remote and no "free" media content pre-loaded on the HDD.

The guys at Gamestop are crazy.

Also, the Xbox1 emulation profiles are only on the hard drive, so no HD means no backwards compatibility

they don't make money on the console at all.

Yep.

I know that they don't make money on the console, but I hate big bundles. Because it's almost impossible that they have only things that I wanted to buy anyway
