1. Select your favorite alcoholic beverage and pour it into your opponent's 16 glasses. The following quantities are our recommendations, discovered after extensive research and development:
Pawn: 0.5 parts
Bishop: 1 part
Knight: 1 part
Rook: 2 parts
Queen: 3 parts
King: 2 parts
2. Begin the game of chess as normal. Whenever a player makes a capture he must drink the contents of that piece.
3. Illegal moves are permissible as long as neither player notices.
4. The losing player must drink his own king as the final ignominy of defeat."
lol had to show this to my roomates. We ordered one. Should make the next party interesting. Worst case scenario..we have an extra 32 shot glasses of varying sizes.
Does the glass top come with it? I envision a cheap cardboard board with cheap glasses. I could accept the cheap glasses if that glass cover comes with it.
32 shot glasses for 21 bucks isnt bad in of itself, the glass board actually looks semi-classy, and if the shot glasses arent plastic Ill be pretty happy, I ordered one
Haha, I just called a drinking game involving chess classy
The description is identical but the glasses in this one look hella cool, I bet they just stole the description, put a nice looking glass table in their pic, and will ship it with chinsy shotglasses and a cardboard playing board

Don't know about the playing board, but the shot glasses themselves are not nearly as cool as the one you linked. They look like normal shot glasses with an etched chess piece symbol on them. Bummer, but hey the price is fantastic for giving some as gifts. I bought two.
This beautiful chess set is created with the finest quality glass. Each of the playing pieces is a shot glass with the likeness of the chess piece on the glass for identification. All of the pieces measure 2 inches tall.
The chessboard itself is made of solid glass, padded on the underside to protect your tabletop. Measuring 14 inches square, this set makes an attractive and practical display piece, and an ideal gift for anyone who loves the fascinating game of chess.
so maybe it is a glass board and glass uh.. glasses
looks like el cheapo version of 99 pound sterling set. I don't think the chess markings are etched, look painted on the glass, I bet they are gone after 3rd wash cycle in dishwasher. Almost ordered it, then looked at pictures again and decided to pass
