Well, after I gave up on the gift idea I've read 910C is compatible with LTE.. (ATT/T-Mo)

Is 910H Snapdragon or Exynos?

I forgot to post that the youtube app now works for me at 1440p. I still think it was a carrier thing as nothing on my phone has changed. If you haven't checked lately, do so asap.

It's Exynos + Ericsson Thor M7450 modem just like the N910C.

Same here with an unlocked N190C, finally 1080p/1440p again.

Youtube app was updated on Feb 6th, so something most likely DID change

I have a hard time blaming the carrier when it still happened on wifi (which was my case)

I must have missed the update on my phone then.

Yeah, I don't know if it's just a coincidence... but once you pointed out it was working again (and I checked if it was fixed on mine too) I looked to see if there were any recent updates to explain it. Looks like everybody's complaints found their way to the right people

Polish N910C (Exynos) was the first to receive Lollipop. Still no OTA update for my brazilian N910C yet, matter of days I guess.

Good news

The last update was a good one for me (everything was a bit snappier) so I'm hoping this will be a good one too.

so everyone loves this phone? I can't justify $600 for it but I might try and pick one up in one of the forums. Has anyone flashed tmobile rom to att note4 and has reliable wifi calling working? thx

There's no root method for the ATT Note 4 so no way to flash the rom unfortunately. To your question though, this is one of those phones that for me hits all the right notes, usually I want to root to fix a bunch of things but I'm happy just using this as it is with the normal customization android allows for.

The at&t note 4 is not rootable yet. Downloading Lollipop now, and it's a huge 1161.38mb.

Agreed

Best phone I've ever had. Absolutely no desire to bother with another rom, it's fine the way it is with a keyboard and homescreen change. I'd like root access just to freeze/uninstall a few things, but it's not that necessary.

I'm downloading it now too, it's going pretty slow though so I don't think it'll be done for another couple hours. I'm hoping I won't have to do a reset after this update, it sounded like the S5 updates had a lot of problems that were fixed by a reset.

ok thanks for the input, I'm interested in the tmobile rom because I have tmobile and use their wifi calling feature.

Then absolutely get the T-mobile Note 4. It's rootable and there is a healthy ROM community. Even if you choose to run it stock, then at least you get things like wifi calling.

Why would you even consider an AT&T one? Cheaper?

love mine, paid $860 for it and it hurts. i probably could have continued on the note 2 for a few more years.

on a side note, anyone else have the Gear VR for it? picked one up on the samsung site a few months back. its a prototype, but man it is an amazing piece of tech. just getting around to playing the 3d games. this is the next big thing once it hits the consumer market in mass.

Took a long time to update, but seems like a solid version. I like the look of the messaging app more now
