So I "pre-ordered" the Note 4 from T-Mobile at the last minute on 10/16 (it was like 11:50PM). I don't believe any of my email receipts mention "pre-order".
I also haven't done a trade-in yet with one of my old phones (not able to find one yet that's worth at least $10). I was reading the fine print of the original pre-order promo and it sounds like as long as I buy the Note 4 by 10/16 I can do the trade-in after 10/16, and not necessarily at the same store?
Would someone please confirm I'm reading this right? Since without the $200 rebate I'll be returning the phone.

Wife got the note 4 yesterday. I sold it today for $665 cash. Going to move her to T-mobile so we'll use that cash towards her new phone on t-mo

With the equivalent Samsung $200 offer for non-preorders as long as you trade-in at the same place, you could always cancel and just do it all again at T-mobile.
The ToC in the previous "pre-order" promo didn't state that the purchase and trade in have to be on the same order.on the ToC it says it has to be done on the same transaction.
Still I got until the end of the month to decide if I want to get it.

For most users, the $200 pre-order site was rejecting all submissions with an invalid IMEI message. Well looks like they finally figured out their issues and the site worked for my T-mobile Note 4.
Also for those who missed this deal but still want a Note 4, Samsung has a new $200 trade-in when purchasing a Note 4 deal - so pretty much the same thing without the pre-order. The only real difference is the purchase and trade-in need to be at the same retailer (unlike the pre-order offer).

The analogous Best Buy offer is more convenient for those buying on contract, though I've heard of Best Buy giving some hassle if you're trying to buy the phone outright. This may be an alternative for non-contract buyers or for those looking to buy the T-mobile version b/c of the unlocked bootloader.
Can you detail to me what you submitted as the receipt for the preorder and the trade in? I preordered on Oct 13th but didn't get my payment processed and phone # give until the 15th. As for the trade in, I put in a trade for the Virgin Kyocera C5133 black which was estimated $10 TIV and on the printing label it shows $10 but I just checked the site and it now shows it as $6 TIV... confused now... More like $160 but yeah, they're just gouging customers at $825. T-mobile is selling for $750 and Verizon of all places is selling for $699.

I would *think* with the lack of explicit dates (such as the exact dates of the pre-order window), you have until the offer submission expiration date to trade-in a phone.

T-mobile has extra 30 bucks off all samsung phones right now.
If you purchased it recently I'd call in and get the $30 dollar adjustment.
Unlocked bootloader in the DE version. There may be other differences I'm not aware of.So I pre-ordered the Note 4 from Verizon but this was before the Developers Edition. When is the DE version going to be available and will there be any deal along with the $662 price. Just to be clear, is the $662 the price without a 2 year plan otherwise that would be way more expensive not less expensive.
