Note II

The Samsung fairy dropped off a Note 2, a Tab 2 7, a Tab 2 10, and a Duos S at my desk this morning for some android dev work.

I will probably be using the Note 2 the most, and I already noticed the input lag although I am not sure I would have noticed it if I hadn't been looking for it.

The problem is, once you learn about it, at least for me any ways. I couldn't not notice it, one of those unfortunate things I wish I had never discovered. I tried a Note II and remarkably it was pretty much the same as my Note I in this regard.

I traded my Note II for a Nexus 4 and DSC-HX100v Sony Camera today. Somebody made me the offer. Nice Deal, Think I'll finally settle down for a while.

I put the Note II for sale just to see what kind of trades I'd get. This one was worth it for me as I was in the market for a camera. (I posted would consider phone and camera combo deals)

The Nexus 4 has its shortcomings, but I can live with it and the 16.3MP 30x Optical Zoom camera works very well and will come in handy.

Think I'll just stay here for a while

You're like the only person in the whole world that thinks Samsung OLEDs are terrible screens.

Now you've met 2. The unique rgb arrangement and lower ppi simply aren't as clear as say, the One X+ or DNA. Also, the res actually allows for less on screen. I compared them sided by side last night.

That said, a nonremoveable is a deal breaker for me. Factor in the massive and thankfully WIDER screen real estate, wonderful contrast, ability to tone down the saturation, microsd card, and THAT S PEN...well, the choice was easy for me.

Also, the size of the screen allows one to use it much further out than the micro narrow DNA for example. This almost negates the lack of clarity. And those of us with sensitive eyes all know the further the light source from the eyes the better.

Fwiw, this is the first NON BLUE, hardware perfect Android I've ever owned. Truly scored this round
