Looks like the shooter was a 33 yr-old ex-security guard with a good amount of firearm training. Lived with his parents.Don't know if there was any mall connection.

I bet I can guess what a lot of his internet history is going to show ...

This is the America Republicans have created and they are fine with. They simply refuse to do anything about guns. In fact the meat of the Republican party is only tried and made guns more available in the last few years. Everybody who votes for these people is guilty.

If you're an elected politician, and your response to a mass shooting is some variant of "there's nothing we can do to stop this", then you need to fucking resign so someone that will do something about it can do your fucking job for you.

We can yell at the politicians, at the NRA, and yell at republicans about assault weapons and gun violence but realistically none of the above are the problem. THE VOTERS are the REAL problem.
As long as people keep electing AND REELECTING these NRA republicans (and some democrats too) nothing is gonna change. And so.... I guess this carnage is what the voters want. Most of the voters are just fine with dead kids. Enough voters to keep these NRA republicans (and some democrats) in office.

You know.... this truly has become the face of America. This is how we look to the other countries around the world. A nation of gun violence and risking ones life at every turn, in every School, at every mall, in every church and movie theater. This is us people !!!!
If I were a foreigner in another country, America would be the LAST place on earth I would want to come to, or visit.
So yeah, this is what we are and will remain until...? Probably forever.

America will always have their assault weapons of war because a large number of Americans, paranoid Americans mind you, truly believe the government is coming to get them. Obama will take away their guns. Biden will take away their guns. Kamala Harris will take away their guns. These paranoid Americans actually believe it will come down to an all out war between them and the government, and this is why assault weapons WILL NEVER be banned, or limited.
Just think about it....
We have a hell of a lot of people out there that can actually envision the Biden forces marching down the street and the gun owners punched in their windows blasting away at the intruders. People actually think this. And this thinking started long before Trump.

And if TX wasn't busy enough, in Brownsville a Land Rover hit multiple people who were waiting at a bus stop across the street from the Bishop Enrique San Pedro Ozanam Center, a non-profit homeless shelter that has been helping house migrants. Authorities say it’s unclear whether the crash was intentional.

The crash left seven dead and at least ten injured. Not a shooting, but still lots of dead and injured folks who didn't ask to be that way.

Where’s the “good guy with a gun” ? In Texas that should be nearly everyone...right? How could this possibly happen in Texas with all those guns they have there? I thought more guns made us safer...
Any of the "good guy with a gun" is one bad day away from being the "bad guy with a gun".

Times are changing.

Thirty years ago.. Gay Marriage was unacceptable.. hell being gay and if your employer found out was grounds to be fired from a job.

And in twenty or thirty years.. what seems impossible now might lead to a massive sea change.

Since the GOP seems to oppose anything and everything.. the pushback will be just as extreme.. from the victims of gun violence.

Instead of just mandatory background checks and waiting to buy a guy.. it might be outright repeal of the second amendment and bans and feed the people who get caught having guns to the industrial jail complex!

Well yell at the ones that don’t vote. There are enough D and I voters that a R never wins again. Sadly it hasn’t happen coast to coast yet

This God sounds like a not nice entity, given it’s all God doing all this slaughter of women and children via shootings:

Texas Rep Keith Self says God is 'absolutely in control of our lives'

'Those are people that don't believe in an almighty god who is absolutely in control of our lives.'

'I'm a Christian. I believe that he is,' Self said assuredly.

So God is the entity responsible so there’s absolutely nothing to be done on that front, cause you know, if God wants y’all dead, He’ll find a way.
In other words "I accept fuckall responsibility for what happens around here"

hmm.. an illegal
The incident is Brownsville, possibly because the guy isn’t being cooperative with identifying himself. The Allen Outlet Mall shooter, most definitely not an illegal, as illegals cannot be licensed security guards in Texas.

Also, Hispanic is an ethnicity, more than half of Hispanics in Texas are classified as white.

If you go back and look at all the mass shootings there would be a vast majority committed by US citizens. You are trying to relate two unrelated concepts. The problem is lax gun control laws, not illegal immigrants.

Yawn, wake me when the body count is over a dozen or more. 🙄 Or when the shooting location is a little more interesting. We haven't done a theme park mass shooting yet right?
