nov 17, two days before the netflix HD streaming and the xbox360 netflix upgrade hit... it will be remembered as the day blu ray died.

Research finds that people still heart physical discs, greatly prefer Blu-ray to streaming
Yeah, while streaming of HD content might work in europe or asia where most people have a really fast broadband connection, there is still a lot of people in the USA who either are on dial up or a slow broadband connection that isnt really fast enough to stream HD.

OK, dumb question: I'm about to update my video driver and I want to go ahead and get the latest version. Guru3D only mentions support for GeForce 8, 9, and GT200 cards. Are these meant for the earlier series like the 6 and 7 or not?

180.60 and 180.70 drivers are out if you guys didn't know.

The new 180.70 drivers allow me to run F@H GPU, with nearly ZERO CPU time used!!!
Before, it used to take an entire CPU core to keep the GPU fed, while running under XP. This is truely an amazing step forward, and key to my building a quad-GPU folding rig, running on a meager AMD dual-core CPU. (See my thread in DC forum)

I have no stuttering in Left 4 Dead with these new drivers.
