san andreas - 8/10 - solid disaster flick. acting was kind of iffy but it was just a fun movie. holy crap the sound in this movie was incredible. also liked the style/effects they had in this movie in general. loved how the daughter was slowly losing her clothes as the movie went on and by the end, she's in a tank top and wet. god damn those tits...
I've decided to keep rewatching the movie until I can binge the first two seasons as season 3 starts.Dang you guys, I'm going to have to start Fargo.
There were a couple scenes where she just started running with the camera focused directly on her. I ain't a religious guy, but I'm pretty sure that might just be proof of some divine being at work....
There was one thing that bugged me about the end...wouldn't she have suffered from some brain damage due to lax of oxygen since she wasn't breathing for minutes at the end? Maybe this was just supposed to be one of those cases where we're dealing with "movie minutes" (1 minute in a movie = some smaller amount of time).

I've rewatched it at least once a year since it came out on Blu-Ray and I enjoy it more and more each time. What clicks for me is just how much the viewer can feel how uncomfortable the characters are.i bought the bluray after the first season ended because my wife had never seen the movie but loved the show.
after not seeing the movie in probably over a decade, i don't think it aged very well and i didn't enjoy it nearly as much as i enjoyed it back in the day. i think the show is actually better than the movie.
I recently watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles about 3 times on HULU. It is pretty funny. It was good enough to watch 2 more times. It is OK that it is kind of korney and cliche. Go Turtles. 9/10
It is quite a good show. I actually think I didn't catch the final episode of the first half of this season (fifth and final one).Hell on Wheels - Netflix 8/10
Maybe I'm just a sucker for westerns, but I'm liking this show more and more with each episode. I'm midway through the 1st season, and if the quality holds up over the long run, this show will probably be in my top 5 TV shows of all time list.
terminator genesys - 3/10 - holy shit this movie was so bad. the first 1/2 was actually pretty good, but as soon asit went to total shit. it just kept getting dumber and dumber too. i'd give the first 1/2 of the movie an 8/10 but it just got so fucking stupid. it is like a god damn avengers movie and shit.john conner became some stupid fucking hybrid
Finally got around to seeing American Sniper. Thought it was trash. 2/10
Oh, like Man of Steel. I saw it in theaters with my brother in law. About half way through I turned to him and said "I don't understand the reviews. This movie is incredible. This is an 11/10". My timing could not have been worse. Literally, the second I said that everything fell apart. The remainder of that movie was horrendous. Act two was a 2/10.
Terminator Genisys had it's own problems. Mostly, breaking canon. But worse ... trying to explain it. They tried to make up a bunch of technical mumbo jumbo to explain how the past can change and there would be an alternative timeline. That's all that was needed but the writers couldn't just say it once and shut up. We get it. It's time travel. There are paradoxes. Move on. The hybrid issue pissed me off but not badly. It is an alternative timeline. This movie is not a reboot. it's a continuation of the story.
A new series just started on Esquire called Spotless. It's about a crime scene cleaner and how he ends up working for the criminal elements of London. At least that's what I can tell from the first episode. It looks quite good. I was going to start a thread for it but I don't know how many people get that channel or if there would be any interest in something like this.
Thanks just added the first two episodes to my Tivo Roamio. Actually I had to lookup what channel Esquire is, never heard of it.

is Thelma and Louise actually good? I've never seen it and whenever I think of the movie I want ot see it even though I don't know much of anything abput it other than how it ends thanks to countless jokes/parodies.
