I finally found two open seats for Endgame and I'm one of the lone dissenters that found it kind of "meh". Admittedly I'm not fond of time travel as a major movie mechanic. It just feels like a lazy device to change timelines and events. It's a movie carried entirely on the backs of a cast that we have grown to love over the last 10 years.
As far as ordering strictly the Avengers movie in order of most enjoyed - the original one was by far my favorite. Then Infinity Wars. Then Endgame. Then age of Ultron.

Edit - would put Endgame at 6/10 personally.

Say two in theaters this weekend.

Long Shot: (Charleze Theron and Seth Rogan as her advisor.) Light comedy, entertaining, had it funny moments. 7.5/10. Strange when you think about it, Charleze Theron running for president when she was not even born in the US, but she played the part well, as usual.

The Intruder: Good suspense movie that totally falls apart at the end, due to plot holes and unbelievable stupidity by the couple that was being targeted. 6.5/10

You are not alone. I agree it was just another Avengers movie, nothing special, way too long and slow in the beginning.

You are also not alone lol I found it rather meh. Epic battle was not epic enough. And without having read the comics the viewers dont get the full impact of the story really from what ive heard. Which is over 90% of the views im sure that have not read the comics.

I think I'm just burned out on "super hero" movies at this point. You never feel like there's any real peril anymore since they can just plot armor it away. It's part of the reason I'm so "meh" on Captain Marvel. That character just feels like the Marvel version of Superman and just so much over the top of any of the Avengers in powers that she was introduced just to move the Marvel Universe along vs Thanos. I get these are all things coming from comics which, no, I never read.

I've been burnt out of Marvel movies for years now. They were fun when we got them every now and then. Now we get like 5 of them a year. They aren't special anymore. I tend to catch them when they hit Redbox if at all.

I'm more a fan of the obscure ones like Dr. Strange and Antman of recent flicks. Probably because I'm a sucker for origin stories in general, and those two were pretty obscure to me. I hadn't even heard of Antman until the movie. Even though something about Paul Rudd bothers me, I still enjoyed it.

I think when the whole Avengers stuff started, or the Xmen reboot of reboot and having like 3 different Wolverine timelines out there, or 3rd reboot of Spiderman, is when I started to not really care for Marvel movies.

That "superhero fatigue" is probably why I liked the Netflix Marvel shows a lot more. The Punisher wasn't a superhero show at all. Sure there was some way over the top exaggeration of healing powers and the ability for a human being to be hit in the head so many times and still be functional....but it wasn't a show that revolved around "powers" to progress the plot. It was just some dude who was super angry and trained to kill.

Even Jessica Jones showed a a much more flawed "superhero" that actually hated using her powers.

Whose going to watch the new movie on Ted Bundy? "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile."

Supossedly Zax Efron plays a convincing Ted, and the movie has gotten good reviews.

Saw it already. I thought it was quite good, and Efron did a very good job. Focuses more on the relationships between Bundy and his wife and later the girl who becomes his girlfriend while he is in prison, rather than the gruesome details of the murders themselves.

'The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story' - 7/10

It was worth a watch. I hadn't realized they'd been teamed up for so many years now, and it was cool to see some Freddie Mercury clips I've never come across before.

They were fun for like 10 years. They need to go away except for anything being made that is rated R.

Would be nice to see a sci-fi renassaince or 80s style action movies take over. That would be pretty epic.

I love that movie. It's worth watching for the music alone.

The fact that they tied it all together with a coherent, fun plot is a bonus.

Blues Brothers is a 10/10 for me.

That part with the Nazi chase scene and the car flying off the bridge is just so ridiculous in a very good way.

The Predator HBO 6/10

What a hot mess but somehow I enjoyed it. Poor editing and continuity at it finest.
Some dialog was entertaining but a big waste of Olivia Munn.

I watched season 1 of the OA on Netflix. It's weird (really weird), yet oddly compelling. I'll give it a 7 out of 10.

I also watched Wandering Earth. It kinda reminded me of a Chinese version of Armageddon. The Sci-Fi is pretty bad, and the whole movie is filled with over the top heroism. The special effects are pretty good, though, and the premise was interesting. I'll give it a 6 1/2 out of 10, and hope that Hollywood does more cerebral reboot of it someday.

Since you've watched Martyrs....now you should watch Inside. (the one about the pregnant woman - there's lots of movies called Inside. )

This show is really, really bad, man. It's interesting at first, but then devolves into some cheesy after school special in the last two episodes. I implore you not to waste your time.
