I only saw the first Kill Bill and I didn't like it. That said, some other Quentin Tarantino movies grew on me with repeat viewings.i agree with shorty about the kill bills sucking in a special way so, given that i am a genius of cinema ..
Dredd is one of the few movies where 3D really added a lot.Robot & Frank was surprisingly good, if you want a heartwarming tale that also involves grand larceny.
I finally saw Dredd. It was far from bad but not quite up there in Good territory either. Probably closer to the comics than the Stallone Shit from 1995.
I watched Trees Lounge for the first time since 1996. I appreciate how much work Steve Buscemi puts into narrative and character building, but the story is quite lacking.
Blue Ruin is excellent, and should be seen by everyone. Especially if you're really pissed off at someone right now.
The Eddie Murphy episode of SNL was alright. Not as funny as it should have been. Recommend watching anyway, especially if you preferred the old show to the new show.
I found the wiki to be more interestingAnyway I thought "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" was great!
Each successive Witcher game was a dramatic improvement on the first and that's not to see that any of them were bad, they weren't, just really impressive growth throughout.Witcher 3 is much, much better than the first game. The game engine and gameplay are extremely clunky in the first game. I have started it a couple of times and quit out within a few hours each time. I would highly recommend Witcher 3 though, have finished it twice.
As for the TV episodes, havent watched any of them yet, but I just cannot imagine Henry Cavill as the Witcher. He has been horrible in every movie I have watched him in.
He's only shirtless like twice in the whole series unfortunately. I'm a straight man, but damn, HC is good looking.i will consider it.
Social Media in general are quite happy with Cavill, at least the way he looks. Many a woman has reported cases of exploding ovaries.
I thought Dr Smith was more tolerable this season than last. Posey drives me a little nuts, but I think that's the point. Definitely enjoyed S2.Lost ins Space - Season 2 @ Netflix.
‘Lost in Space’ Review: Season 2 Plays It Safe, but There’s Still Plenty of Family-Friendly Fun
Season 2 of Netflix's visually stunning sci-fi series still plays things too safe, but there's plenty of fun for children and sci-fi diehards.www.indiewire.com
Liking it so far. Dr.Smith her mischievous self as always.
I plan to watch at least the first few episodes on Netflix at least, to see how I like it.Each successive Witcher game was a dramatic improvement on the first and that's not to see that any of them were bad, they weren't, just really impressive growth throughout.
I love the books, too. The show is an adaption of the books and plans to ignore the games (thus far). HC had a solid Geralt look and voice, but he doesn't really have any acting chops of which to speak (but he's a huge fan of the series having read the books and played the games and then lobbied hard for the role when he heard it was in the works so I give him some points for that).
I didn't care much for the casting of Yennefer. The show also has a large soap opera production feel to me (hard for me to articulate). Overall, I enjoyed it because I love the universe, but if I was Witcher naive, it would be meh at best from me. Put this next to GoT, True Detective, Westworld and it's not even close (I know the experience levels are massive), but even compared to season 2 of LoS Netflix just released I think it falls a little short.
Shrug, still looking forward to a second season I just hope it doesn't take 2 years. These incredibly long production times between seasons makes me nuts (I can barely remember what happened in season 2 of Westworld).
