That is the ratio he wanted and it was shot that way, so what is the issue? No it isn’t, but that’s how I watched it.

I saw the first one in the movies. How in sam hill are you not using a similar ratio for it's replacement? That is the ratio he wanted and it was shot that way, so what is the issue?
You mean the one with Whedon? Remember the Snyder Cut was meant for IMAX.I saw the first one in the movies. How in sam hill are you not using a similar ratio for it's replacement?
Yes, that was the original, because Zack had to leave. You mean the one with Whedon?

I recently watched Lord of the Rings: two Towers. I enjoy epic films very much and usually head in that area.
9/10 but I didn't read the books so some maybe a little more disappointed in the movies.

When I got my first HDTV 20 years ago give or take I used to stretch 4:3 images a lot... then I learned how to WORK said HDTV and I stopped.
I had an OTA antenna when I got my first HDTV, The NYC stations were just getting HD, and they were awesome! I should say when they had HD content they were awesome. Now they split the signal 3-5 times, so the picture is not as good. It beats 4:3 though. When I got my first HDTV 20 years ago give or take I used to stretch 4:3 images a lot... then I learned how to WORK said HDTV and I stopped.
If you missed the Christian Bale Batman trilogy, then you have some viewing to do.Even on a 65" I couldn't take the 4:3 - I flipped between that and zoom/stretch a bunch of times and ultimately I found one that was acceptable. That's how I watched Justice League. Decent movie. I haven't watched any DC movies except Joker really.

Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are the only midnight showings I've ever gone to, and they were both worth it. Two of my favorite superhero movies. If you missed the Christian Bale Batman trilogy, then you have some viewing to do.
What about The Dark Knight Rises? How could you not see that???Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are the only midnight showings I've ever gone to, and they were both worth it. Two of my favorite superhero movies.

on a side note, i have lifted the veil.
my shop was selling Mature Cheddar, and for the same price, Extra Mature Cheddar.
You would obviously thing that "mature" was a bonus on cheddar, so any sane man would go for Extra-Mature over just Mature.
But me, being an anarchist, i bought a bar of the Mature one and am now enjoying a truly tasty cheddar.
On the downside, the Azathoth has opened the gates of madness and i am now trapped in a swirling mist of insanity.
I have watched, for some weird reason, Jesus Christ Superstar - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070239/
idk, i was on youtube, i looked back at my history, and i had a big argument over a video 7 years ago. Basically Neely (Jesus) being shit in a broadway performance, argument went on for 2 years. God i miss being able to yell at people on youtube.
So i went and watched the whole thing again.
First thing of notice is how dreadful the music is. The band they got for the film can't even keep time, they are so shit it's unreal.
Another thing i got a problem with is the minimalist costume design. Surely it's not too difficult to dress up a bunch of hippies in rags, no? The romans in shiny helmets and wifebeaters look particularly awful. Oh well, the charm of the 70s.
Aside from the success it had, i think JCS could have done so much better with just a tiny teensy little more effort. Despite this, for historical importance: 7/10
oh yeah and it's the story of Jesus.
