Let the right one in. 8/10 A nice vampire tale superior to the american version called let me in 6/10
The Swedish (I'm Swedish) version is sooooo much better! The acting 10/10! I don't understand why they remade it. Anyone know why? Money I guess. However the US version was good too, but nothing like the original."Let the right one in" is one of the best movies I have seen in the past few years.
The US version woudln't have been so bad ifThat part of the US version just made me thing, you have got to be #%$#ing kidding me. I did find it humorous how the US version basically copied it scene for scene almost exactly.they didn't do the CGI monster/vampire face thing towards the end.
I agree! The ending though.. remind me of Resident evil - Licker! :whiste:Martyrs is amazing. One of my favourites.

Hunger Games - Catching Fire - 7/10
I really like the premise of the movie, and I think it has very interesting themes and symbolism that are very relevant to our world, but it definitely could have been executed a bit better. The acting was a bit wooden at times, and the movie felt quite slow. It was 146 minutes long, and for a 2 1/2 hour movie, not much really happened. Also, some bits left you kind of wondering, "wouldn't it make more sense if..." - a few of the parts felt like they were there for the sake of being there, to move the plot along.
Nice special effects though. I think the movie did a good job of showing exactly what kind of a society Panem really is, which I felt they really could have screwed up. And the whole "strong heroine" thing is kinda hot.

Maybe it's just my imagination.Weird, I think I've seen all of the RE movies but I do not recall one that seemed like Martyrs. :hmm: Which one was it?

Spectacular special effects, great performance by Sandra but it got boring in a hurry.
