Beneath Hill 60 8/10. This movie is about the tunnel mine warfare that was done in WWI. I thought it was pretty good considering there weren't a whole lot of well known actors in it. The whole thing is on youtube, and while it's not a great quality, it's definitely watchable.

Probably a low-budget horror flick, but managed to scare the shit out of me with its weird claustrophobic feeling. And what a delightfully sad ending as well.

Someone at work told me about the ending before I saw it, and that is what caused me to watch it. IMO the ending is pretty awesome and kindof funny in a way.

Man, they don't make movies like this anymore. Actually, I'm not sure they made any like that before or since. Made me laugh a lot, but it's not all funny. Really reaches deep and gets there. Amazing performances. I saw it way back when but doubt I got to it the way I did the other night. Mike Nichols' first movie.

Ian McShane was pretty good in this. Some really dark laugh-out-loud moments throughout the movie but I agree about the plot - it was below average. The movie as a whole I thought was very watchable. I give it a 6.5/10.

The character development was not good at all and it did not feel like a Star Wars movie either. Literally the only thing it had going for it was that it was a Star Wars movie in name. There are also people/characters thrown in just for nostalgia that just feel out of place or forced. When you see them you will understand. The story and characters were very cliché as well, none of them interesting. The only decent thing was the effects which weren't bad at all except for certain things on people.

The Mist was one of my favorite short stories, and I was beyond happy when I heard they were making a movie of it, and I was even more happy when it didn't completely suck. The ending was actually a change from the story and suggested by King himself.

A bit of trivia...it is made by the same guy who did The Walking Dead. There are 3 actors from the early show in it.

I think I would have liked The Mist better if I had seen if before The Walking Dead and around the time of its release with the CGI. Those actors stood out and the cartoonish monsters weren't as believable as they would have been in 2007ish.

Watched the latest Bourne movie the other night. I'd give it a 6/10 - I found myself losing focus a bit but staying true for a large part of the movie. The underlying plot just wasn't as compelling and it was more about Bourne being Bourne vs some kind of plot development.

Watched the latest Bourne movie the other night. I'd give it a 6/10 - I found myself losing focus a bit but staying true for a large part of the movie. The underlying plot just wasn't as compelling and it was more about Bourne being Bourne vs some kind of plot development.

Worst of the Bourne movies for sure. I can barely give it a 4/10. This is a case of too much action and too little story which makes for a boring movie. The excessive shakey cam made me want to puke.

(Part 1 came out in 2012. that was better. I give it 7.5/10.)

anyway, most of the negative had to do with the Joker scenes.

Why does Batman try to muscle thru the cops to get to the Joker at the talk show studio?
he beats up a lot of cops. What happened to stealth and sneaking in?
And wtf attacking the cops anyway???

Also, Batman being shot by Joker:
What happened to his body armor?! he was shown wearing a bullet proof vest under his costume in Part 1 when he faced TwoFace.

Sad about Alfred committing suicide at the end at Batman's request to eliminate all connections to Bruce Wayne.
