My friends got there too late yesterday (They close at 6pm?!), but the two drives that were set aside for them were back out this morning so I picked them both up with the 10% coupon and the CompUSA pricematch. The guy at the register gave my brother and I two different prices ($125.99 for me and 139.99 for him), even though we both used a PM to $129.99 & a coupon, so we took them back to customer service and got them for $116.99 each. Only thing is, they never disabled the security tags so I set off the alarm on all of my back-and-forth trips
What is this 110% PM guarantee someone mentioned? I'm happy, but I sure didn't get that.
BTW, ANYONE should be able to get the CompUSA pricematch if you make sure you have both flyers (And shoot any "annoying kids" before hand). This is because Best Buy has the wrong image and therefore both ads have the exact same image. Because only BB mentions the cache size, if they notice that the box is different in the CompUSA ad you can just say that it's probably a manufacturer file-photo for the same drive or something and point out that their ad has the exact same image. They can't argue the point because the CompUSA drive specifies NOTHING. No model number, no cache size, no nothing.
Oh, and this was in Douglassville, GA and they're out so don't bother them anymore
Yesterday, Fayetteville, GA said they never had them to begin with but that Kennesaw, GA did. So call first (like I did).
