If anyone is still unsure about the "existence" of this new video card from eVGA - head on over to Viahardware.com. They have posted a link to a picture of the card, and also point out the 3.3ns/600mhz of the card.

I am really looking forward to receiving this card!!

I just followed the link to the korean site.
Since i'm Korean, I can tell you that the site is only saying that buyee.com is selling the card.
The only information on the card is from the buyee.com itself. nothing new. it's just a news link.
And the picture? it looks exactly like any other evga card from what i can tell...how can you tell the sped by looking at the ramsink picture? uh ...duh? it proves NOTHING?

I guess that someone will just have to buy the card for you, take off the heatsink so you can see the ram, and stick it in your face, eh?

Wassamatta?.........you dont believe what you read on Via Hardware?. DOUBLE DUH!!!!!!!!

man you're an idiot.
I NEVER said the card doesn't exist. If it does, woopie it's a great deal.
You're using the Viahardware post as a "proof" when all it does is link you to a korean news site which just talks about the buyee.com site. HOW IS THAT PROOF?
And you're saying I don't make sense? get real dude.
Just because some link was on Viahardware doesn't make it a PROOF...DUH?

RgrPark--why do you all worked up about this anyway?- If this actually is not true, it's not your loss..it's theirs. It's not something that are really worth to argue about. If others want to buy it let 'em. If it's true-that's cool for them. Even though if this is not true--4ns ram can be OCed very high--coz my asus with 4ns OCed to 550mhz memory.
Just imho--80% chance that this is true. GLory to those who would like to take a chance

<< I would not be surprised to see that card hit 600MHz.
Just finished testing two Gainward GF3 Ti 200 Golden Samples ($170 newegg).
Both ran great at 262 core and 561 memory and stock as-shipped cooling.
I think the memory on those was either 4.5ns or 4ns.
This only confirms that the Ti 200 itself is unbeatable for overclocking.
Hopefully the evga will do as good as the Gainward.
>>

I may be wrong but doesn't calling at a 600mhz card mean it ships at that? I mean the regular ti200 is listed as 400 mhz and ships at that. The ti500 is listed as 500hnz ans ships at that. If this card ships at 600mhz it's bound to oc higher than that. It that case it should spank all the ti200 and maybe the ti500 cards out there.

This buyee.com is not the only site selling these. I think the question "Do they exist" is pretty moot.

New line pc and united micro inc. both have them listed.

I agree with XSQUID on all counts, seems that the card will ship at 600mhz. I suppose we will see when someone actually gets one and reviews it.

Wassamatta?.........you dont believe what you read on Via Hardware?. DOUBLE DUH!!!!!!!!

I never said they don't exist. Just using a link to a link that links itself to the ad as a proof is idiotic. Has nothing to do with the card. The idea is stupid and this idiot calling me stupid for noticing that, well he's stupid.

the card does exist
i saw a review on an italian language computer site (no link)
they got it to 612
nvidia cant be too happy about this - deviating from ref board and getting a card better than ti500 -
since memory is the current bottleneck
but the nv25 is supposed to be out in jan., maybe they got the o.k. to sell in u.s. now

Real funny. look at your avg posts per day (19 in this thread alone)and then look at mine. You have more posts than i do and you've been a member for how long? Get real. Your logic is way beyond me. have a good life. Don't bother replying because i'm done with you Mr. senior member since July.

Funny how you never posted a link to the site...probably don't even know how...after reading this though, you'll probably do some research and find out. at least i helped you get a little bit smarter. You're welcome Mr. logical.

For the innocent bystanders, i apologize for this flaming that got started when when i pointed out to him that viahardware is just linked to a site that links itself to the ad itself. I just found it quite humorous.

I know this is kind of off topic, but what would you guys sell a

Visiontek Xstasy Geforce 3 ti 200

and a

MSI Geforce 2 pro for.

Both are of course used, though not very long and I have original boxes, disks and crapola.

Just curious.

Probably $140 - $150 for the Xstasy, and $100 (maybe a little less) for the MSI.

Just MHO.

Two types of buyers. Suckers and Hot Deal shoppers.
Considering the bottom end VT GF3 Ti 200 card can be bought for a little over $150 NEW,
and on sale for $100 (AR), and great cards like Golden Samples can be bought for $170,
would put the max value of the used VT at around $100.
Used Sucker price $150, Hot deal price $95.

GF2 Pro is now old technology since these ultra low cost Ti cards came out.
Used Sucker price $120, Hot Deal price $75.

I bought this card today. As soon as it gets outa the box it's going in and getting
overclocked. I'll post results. 3.3ns is just insane memory speed.

I wish I knew where you bought your stuff, RobsTV...........the prices you quote for new stuff is unreal.

I just went to PriceWatch and the lowest price for a Visiontek GF3 Ti200 (retail - not a white box) is $178 and $14 shipping.
Also on PricewWatch the lowest price for a GF2 Pro - and a "House Brand" at that - is $100 plus 15.45 shipping.

Would you care to let all of us know where we can buy these cards at the prices you quoted? You would be helping out a lot of folks around here at Anandtech.

Thanks!

p.s. The $100 price you quoted for the Visiontek card was only good for one day at BB. You cannot find that deal anywhere now.

SpotDancer, still using Pricewatch after several months in this forum? HaHaHaHa...
No deals there. I find all these good prices right here, in Hot Deals forum.

I'll repeat.
The bottom of the line GF3 Ti200 that you can get is the VT model.
Normally, it costs slightly more than $150 "NEW".
On Sale, it can be had for around $100.
The BB sale lasted 1 week on that card for $149.
The additional $50 rebate was only good 2 days.
I bought one myself from BB on-line, as I missed out on store deal.
Many bought the card, tore off the UPC code to get rebate, then resold
the card as Brand New for $130 on e8ay.
Using on-line coupons, rebates, and sales, and it is not hard to get a new GF3 Ti200 for less than $130.
Just might take a couple days for the right combo of sales to come along.
A New card that is sold from a private party, will always cost less than New retail.
A used card will of course go for much less than New retail.
Used Sucker price $150, Hot deal price $95.
Also as I stated, the very best GF3 Ti200, Gainward Golden Sample, that clocks
higher than most GF3 Ti500 cards, (two tested here at 262/561), is only $170 + $5 shipping
(Newegg, Full retail, not white box)

The very best GF2 Pro that money can buy, is the
GAINWARD/CARDEXPERT GEFORCE2 Ti450 GOLDEN SAMPLE 64MB
One of the "Deal" sites that isn't showing up at Pricewatch, Newegg,
has the card brand new for $99 + $4 S&H, in stock. This is normal
price, without any coupons, rebates, or sales. As I mentioned, since
the release to the Ti series, all previous GF models are outdated.
Sure they might cost more, but whay pay more for less?
So of course: Used Sucker price $120, Hot Deal price $75

Even those Hot Deal prices are too high considering the card is used.

BTW, Pricewatch shows around 50 different places to get a GF3 Ti200
for under $180, and most are Full retail, with best price they list as
$155 + $8 shipping, Full retail. GF2 Ti200 (which performs better than
GF2 Pro or GF2 Ultra) $88......But, Pricewatch never shows best deals.

I just spoke with eVGA. The 3.3ns Ti200 will be shipping at 400MHz and they do not back the dealers that claim it will run at 600MHz. This is the real deal though. The rep also told me that the core will most likely not reach 240MHz (Ti500 speed), unlike other Ti200s that we have recently seen. Nevertheless, this is a great buy. Hopefully I get one before the end of the week.
