It seems like there is a pretty common theme with rebuttals. Look what the other guys did! Hopefully you don't have any love ones buried in Arlington that were just used in a partisan political ad. One I might ad, makes no sense whatsoever for the NRA to do. Maybe the NRA should start being treated like a Super Pac.

What probably happened is they observed the letter of the law by filming from outside the cemetery with a telephoto lens and violated the spirit of the law by having the actor in the cemetery.

Still it doesn't look good on the nra.

Some things are just tacky. My question was regarding "illegally". Media Matters says "we say so". Indeed that might be the case, but it would be wonderful if someone took a pic of the same scene to back up that contention. If it can be credibly demonstrated that someone willfully engaged in an illegal activity then there's no doubt the NRA is in the wrong.
