Which, of course, justifies your fact-free insistence that there is no such loophole?

That "loophole" does not exist in my present state of California, we have a State law against all private sales and transfers, quite a few states have those laws. The media portray the "gun show loophole" as a nation wide loophole that exists throughout our country. The problem I have is with the media and other people deliberately and knowingly misinforming the public in an attempt to pass extreme (imo) laws.

The only problem I see is liability for the sale. I'm relying on the gun shop to do the check and okay the sale. The gun shop may not want to be responsible for such third party sales.

As long as they follow normal process, no different than if they sold their own used gun to you, i think they would be just as comfortable.

But that has nothing to do with gunshows, it's private parties outside in the parking lot that sell face to face. It's the same as the "craigslist loophole".

You can always demolish a liberal when they use "gunshow loophole" as I have shown there is NO GUN SHOW LOOPHOLE.

No, it's not. Private sellers can set up tables at gun shows, and sell their private guns, IN the gun show, to people without having to do background checks.

I was just thinking about that. I can see this going down in a year or two:

The NRA routinely offers membership discounts. Both the $300 lifetime and free annual membership deals have been offered many times. Previous offers have not led to such surges in new members.
