It is all inter-dependent. The sats and drones rely on military infrastructure and intelligence gathering on where to place them, what to target and how to target it. Even launching one requires huge amounts of infrastructure, none of which can be had at the snap of a finger. You pretend like these are kites you can throw in the air and you magically get shit out of thin air. You go on about such big government yet don't even realize that much of that government is needed to do the things you want done.

What was our country founded upon? You will say individual liberty but you that is a joke given slavery and women sufferage. It was founded upon an experiment of self rule with checks and balances but that self-rule has to be logical and adapt to how society and the world changes.

The current government is doing a fine job of preventing the citizens they supposedly answer to from even being allowed to determine if illegal abuse is occurring at all.

It's remarkable that you don't know global trade occurred back then. They also had a greater chance of being killed than you because of standing up to others who took advantage of them in large part due to global trade. There was this thing called colonialism you know.
