There should really be a poll. Anyhow, I used FAT32 only because I'm dual booting 98se and I wanna be able to view my 2k partition. Otherwise I'd run NTFS.

Hmm I'm using fat32, but I want to convert to NTFS because of the 4gig file size limitation.. I do some work with video.

WTF? ATI seriously needs to hire better programmers.

I use FAT32 for all of my partitions except for my swap(FAT) and my NTFS storage partition for the security from preying eyes for my "special" files.

Weighing in with the first NTFS. I also have a 500 mb partition that has a bare w98 install(fat32) in case I have to share files between Linux and w2k (AFAIK Linux cannot write to an NTFS partition and w2k can't read from an e2fs).

I'm surprised by all of the FAT32 replies. I highly recommend NTFS if you care at all about security, but that's just me.

I run it with strictly NTFS, because after a week I dropped my dual boating w/ 98se like a bad habbit.

My Win2K is on a NTFS partition, and I have a FAT32 partition for Win98.

I shall do that once I figure out how to watch TV and DVD on Win2K w/ NTFS...

dammit, Canucks gave up a 3-0 lead to Leafs going into 3rd period and ended up with a 3-3 tie... would've been better if I could watch it instead of listening it via streaming ASF.

NTFS is the best choice for this OS. Video and sound and peripheral companies have written drivers for this OS for over a year. Its much more stable than 9x OS's and provides security for your files and folders,in that other OS's cannot see them.(linux the same way)

Check with ATI for an upgraded win2K driver and enjoy the system.

What cards do you have for this function? I ask because I have both of these features working fine on my machine. I use a Hauppauge(sp??) for tv and I use a RealMagic Hardware Decorder card for DVD, however I have also used the software decoding that came with my G400 and both of them work fine.
