So, I'm trying to get a torrent tracker to see me / be connectable / be able to upload. I've looked at guides on the site I torrent from. At the guides on other sites. I've set up utorrent to be open on a non-randomizing port in the 50,000s. Windows 8 firewall has all ports open for utorrent. I've disabled UPnP in utorrent.
I'm not sure how to properly do port forwarding on my Netgear model WNR-1000v2 with my IP that uses dynamic IP assignment. Static does NOT work since TWC regularly forces IP changes. What should I select in the port forwarding "service name" dropdown? HTTP? FTTP? Something else? Which IP should I specify? the one my router assigns to the system I'll be doing the torrents / trackers on?
http://www.canyouseeme.org/ can't see me (connection times out). uploads aren't occurring. suggestions?
