i've gone to this gym for about fifteen months and in that time i've noticed progressively more men going into the sauna and steam room with nothing on at all or just briefs. The sauna and steam room are in the locker rooms, so it's not like women or children would be in there, but still...don't you think this is poor etiquette? I've been to numerous gyms and never seen anything like that

I was on the beach in Cannes once, minding my own business, reading. to the left of me was German whale, roasting on the beach, blubbery teets drawing lines in the sand as she switched sides.

disgusted, i looked back down, read a few pages. then, shadow casts over my Proust, so I look up.

4 year-old girl running to pick up a recently-tossed ball, bends over just above my head to pick it up and toss it back to her mom, unclothed, the rest needs no description.

it was my own private Seinfeld episode of hilarious misunderstandings, confused and sickened feelings, all precipitated by poor timing.

The sexualization of nudity is caused by our prudishness.

most saunas require you at least SIT on a towel. Based on threads here I think many of our 'high school jocks' were really the benchwarmers that were always the first out of their locker rooms.

Saunas,Steam Rooms and even Gym showers are like a Petri dish. There is a marked upswing in staph infections like MRSA and Gyms are a prime source.

I do- but only the 85 year old guy with the sack that hangs to his knees that insists on walking around the entire perimeter of the locker room with no clothes on.

When I go to the sauna at the gym every day, I bring my sweat towel to sit on grab another to cover the crotch area and use it to wipe my face occasionally.
