THIS is and will become Sessions Achilles heel.
These so called "highly moral, highly religious", but in fact religious heretics within the Trump administration will be held accountable. Like it or not.

I grew up in the UMC and get kept up to date on it by my parents who are very active in their church. While the UMC as an organization is pretty moderate, even liberal on many issues, you will find many, many UMC congregations that are Southern Baptist in all but name. It's pretty likely that the UMC will split in the next few years. Their governing body has been kicking several issues (primarily gay marriage and gay clergy) down the road for the last decade or more. They're discussing some compromise plans of the type that leave both sides unhappy, so it's most likely IMO that they'll end up formally accepting gays at which point the conservative faction will take their toys and leave. I'd also expect some kind of response or backlash from conservative factions in the UMC over this letter, since AFAIK it's pretty unprecedented. I'm an atheist now so I'm pretty much like

Well Dump supporters have had a bit of practice lately of not turning the other cheek, but of turning a blind eye. Note how much support he lost from raw dogging pornstars while married.
