NuTech L921G LCD Monitor

I'm considering getting a new LCD. I see that Anandtech believes that the NuTech L921G gives the most bang for the buck. Does anyone own one of these? Has anyone had any good or bad experiences? I'm curious to see whether it's worth it to risk getting an inexpensive LCD. I saw this on Newegg yesterday for $389.99. Does this brand have a reputation for quality builds?

I read the Anandtech review over lunch and moved this LCD to the top spot on my short list of 19" LCD monitors that I would like to buy. It offers up impressive performance, DVI output and no noticeable downsides for a low price. I think the brand itself is too new to determine the build quality, but the article mentioned it is probably a Samsung screen, and I love my current 19" Samsung CRT.

Apparently either NuTech is gone or these monitors are no longer in production. I can't find one anywhere! I can only find a few referrences to NuTech, and even fewer to the 19in LCD Monitor. I found one on Ebay for 450+ plus shipping. I would love to find one at less than 400.

You can get the 2001FP for $600 or less now. I just mention it in case someone, like me, hates the unnatural 1280 X 1024 resolution of most 19" flat panels. $600 is still a chunk of change for most folks to drop on a monitor, I know.

I got a 17" from NU... great company, nice people... but my montior came with 4 dead pixels right in the very middle. Their replacement policy is 7.

Well I was hoping for a 19in, since I can afford 400 dollars. I could go with the 17in as well (and use the rest on a new Video Card), but the 18in doesn't have a DVI output. If I am going to buy a LCD monitor it is going to have to have a digital input.
The DELL looks very impressive, but I don't see being able to dump 600 right now. Maybe in a couple months.

Read the review at anandtech. The nuech and the viewsonic come out better than the dell. I am deciding between the viewsonic and the nutech. both look great, but viewsonic is a good brand with good support.

I poked around a bit, and I cannot find any vendors that list this panel for sale, and in stock. 'Considering how difficult it is to even find one to buy, I would probably pay a little more and get the viewsonic, since they obviously have better north american market saturation
