I haven't played a lot of recent FPS' outside of RTCW and MOHAA so correct me if I'm wrong here but aren't all those Open GL games (with the exception of Halo)? I'll take these benches with a grain of salt for that reason alone. Let's not count our chickens before they hatch now
Edit: another thing I noticed about the article that was odd was that there were no pics of the cooling solution. Are we to believe the NV40 has no cooling solution? That's one magical card right there

heh the score results don't look too credible either. The scores they are getting seem completely CPU bound, so I doubt you would see such a large delta with those games/settings.
