Possibly, but the poster did offer adjectives explaining games, translates into 3d vision to me.

I was talking about both. I'm used to seeing % of improvement over previous drivers as a way of describing the improvement made by the current drivers. Like, X% faster in game Y over driver ###.

I just thought it was strange to see, for example, that the 690 was 19% faster than the GTX-480 in Max. I assume that's 19% overall, which seems awful, not 19% faster than the previous drivers?

Thanks for explaining that the adjective performance rating is a community understood system.

These drivers have been hell, I havent had nvidia driver problems for a very very long time until these, my monitor didnt want to boot, couldnt get into safe mode and now drivers and not even showing up but installed, crazy.

These drivers are garbage. After a cold boot my system doesn't recognize my monitor properly and goes into 640x480, also doesn't allow 3D acceleration. Have to reboot to fix it then to get crashes in game.

310.70 is the one to use, these ones are no good.

I haven't turned off my computer since I 'upgraded' to the 310.90s. FarCry 3 works fine but I'm not taking any chances. I'm goin' back to the 310.70s so I can turn off my computer at night.

Yeah I knew these were sketchy. 310.70 is doing just fine.

I must be the only one running 310.90 with no issues. I did not do a clean install, however - it's a real pain in the ass to re-do nvidia inspector profiles, and my custom program profiles all over. I have like 20 programs set to adaptive power management....way too annoying to set all of that stuff up continually.

Did you guys do a clean install or what?

Tried Far Cry 3. The game crashes on load with SLI enabled. I have to set SLI to single card in the Far Cry 3 profile to get the game to load. Changing the SLI bits doesn't help.

Thanks Nvidia for the SLI profile update! Sheeesh...

Figured out why I get random crashes when loading Far Cry 3. I've been having other weird issues with other DX10 and DX11 titles. The problem turns out to be the DX11.1 update for Windows 7, KB2670838. Don't install it! You'll end up with more problems than it's worth. That's probably why it's not on Windows Update.
