Can't forget fake ROPs, too.Fake frames and MSRP?

No, I don't think the vapors will reach them.Nvidia's troubles magnified? https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-com...idias-rtx-5090-bolts-first-gpu-coming-in-2026

NVIDIA Planning Entry-Level GeForce RTX 5050 8 GB GPU, RTX 5060 8 GB Hits Retail In April
NVIDIA is preparing entry-level & mainstream options for gamers with its upcoming GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5050 series graphics cards.wccftech.com
WTFTech really seems to think the 5050 is coming, and has 8 GB. Presumably it'd be a cut down GB207 with GDDR6. Maybe best case 4060 performance?
The way this release is going, it seems like for 5060, best case performance is 4060...
i'd assuming 5050ti = 4060 perf, but what is 5050 perf lolWTFTech really seems to think the 5050 is coming, and has 8 GB.
Context is really important here.Nvidia's troubles magnified? https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-com...idias-rtx-5090-bolts-first-gpu-coming-in-2026
For $150 or less I'd be excited about a 5050 for Plex transcoding.NVIDIA Planning Entry-Level GeForce RTX 5050 8 GB GPU, RTX 5060 8 GB Hits Retail In April

Much more. RTX 3050 6GB are going for >180$. I bet $200 for a 4050 branded as a 5050. Or $230 for an actual 5050.For $150 or less I'd be excited about a 5050 for Plex transcoding.
GB207 is 20SMs. If it's a cutdown die, it would need some serious clock advantage to match 4060. I think Nvidia will employ the RTX 3050 8GB strategy and have it be 80-90% of 4060 (previous xx60) performance.NVIDIA Planning Entry-Level GeForce RTX 5050 8 GB GPU, RTX 5060 8 GB Hits Retail In April

If they could make it so that it can be paired with a cheap Radeon and the pathtracing part could be offloaded to it, bye bye RTX.There is one major catch: Zeus can only beat the RTX 5090 GPU in path tracing and FP64 compute workloads because it does not support traditional rendering techniques.
And thus, I'm not excited yet, but I was excited recently to find an open box 3050 6GB for $140.Much more. RTX 3050 6GB are going for >180$. I bet $200 for a 4050 branded as a 5050. Or $230 for an actual 5050.
It really seems like they would have been better off rebranding Ada with a small price cut. Blackwell just seems like a cluster of problems, with no real bright spots.
It'll be profitable, nothing else matters.

I heard a joke that Nvidia was going to sell a 5060 with only 8gb of vram. I thought it was pretty funny.
