That wouldn't be that bad of a price for the 16GB version If true.
It's already $70 lower, 5070 saw only $50 off compared to predecessor. And this doesn't really matter when you can't find anything at this cost.$399 would have been better.
+14% over 4060 Ti would put it a little faster than 3070 Ti at 1440p. 6% more SM than 4060 Ti though, so if you were expecting a big gain you're probably looking at disappointment.

More damning is that after two generations and 4.5 years, we might get a 5060 Ti 8GB that's $20 cheaper and 30-35% faster than the $400 3060 Ti 8GB.
FWIW, as of writing this 12+ hours later 9 of those 10 MSRP 5070's that are available for shipping across Canada are still sitting in stock.
