Rumor says Blackwell AI products have been delayed by at least 3 months. Might only be GB200, original source is paywalled though, so not sure.

I would assume it's just GB200. If you have to do a respin, that's the time cost of doing that.

Now that shouldn't change the timeline of the gaming cards. Although it's possible it did because they pulled some people off just to make sure they don't have to respin again.

Max power consumption of the lower end Blackwell mobile has been reduced. Also confirms that all of Blackwell mobile uses GDDR7.

From the above link.

Not surprising. 140W was pointless for 4050-4070 models. Another 8GB Vram GPU.

yes mobile 4060 4070 achieve near 100% perf at 90W basically, blackwell gonna be more efficient too

8gb very disappointing, forces everyone to go super overpriced 5080/90, no mid option

In case you had any doubts about what the focus of Blackwell Gaming is going to be. Hopefully they will at least improve the RT.

Can’t wait for DLSS4 FG that inserts 2 frames instead of 1 between real frames. Eventually won’t even need to play the game anymore because the GPU will generate 10 minutes of gameplay for every input command I feed it. Each game will have a perfectly tailored AI model that is trained using the best professional gamers for said game so that even a filthy casual like me can game at the highest levels, all thanks to AI (exclusive to Nvidia GPUs, of course, for a monthly fee).

That's nothing new really. Even just looking at what Jensen said about the rebranding of GTX to RTX talks about fusing graphics with AI and RT. Launching 40 series he went deeper and talked about neural graphics ever since

What happened that Nvidia lost almost 10% of It's value in a single day?
Just because RTX 5090 consumes more than 550W?

P.S. now that I look even AMD lost almost 8% of It's value. Is Lunar Lake such a hit?
Probably not, because Intel once lost almost 9% today.

Thanks for alerting us!

Sept 3 (Reuters) - The U.S. Department of Justice has sent a subpoena to Nvidia (NVDA.O)
, opens new tab as it deepens its probe into the AI heavyweight's antitrust practices, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the investigation.
The antitrust watchdog had previously delivered questionnaires, and has now sent legally binding requests to Nvidia, the report said, adding that other companies had also received subpoenas.

Officials are concerned that the chipmaker is making it harder to switch to other suppliers and penalizes buyers that do not exclusively use its artificial intelligence chips, the report said.
"Nvidia wins on merit, as reflected in our benchmark results and value to customers, who can choose whatever solution is best for them," a spokesperson for the company said.
Last month, the Information reported the Department of Justice had launched an investigation into the company after complaints from competitors that it had abused its market dominance.

The subpoena comes at a delicate time for AI-related companies as investors recalibrate expectations around the technology amid worries about slow payoffs from hefty investments in it.
The company said last week it has received requests for information from regulators in the U.S. and South Korea, regarding its investments, partnerships and agreements with other companies. It has also received inquiries from the EU, UK and China.

Nvidia's quarterly forecast, which fell short of investors' expectations last week, has also softened the optimism around AI.
The company's shares fell 1.5% in extended trading on Tuesday after losing 9.5% in the regular session, slashing Nvidia's market capitalization by $279 billion, a record one-day loss for any company.
The shares, however, are still up 141% so far this year, thanks to a dizzying rally sparked by AI expectations.

The DoJ declined to comment when contacted by Reuters.

By the way, MLID video coming soon on "people who wish to remain anonymous" spilling the beans on how Nvidia abused its dominant position in the GPU space

There's been talk that NV has been prioritizing orders for customers who are exclusively buying NV. And since they can't fill every order you can see why people are complaining.

Remember, AI is history's biggest bubble of all time so people are trying to go as fast as they can until it pops. You don't have any NV GPUs, you can't scam "Investors".

That's rather surprising. One would think JHH would be prioritizing orders for customers willing to pay the most money. Who cares what else they're using if they'll pay more than anyone else.

Uh... at 550 or 600 W, that still would be enough for one 16 pin (plus the 75 W from the bus)
