Well it looks as if Westwoods upcoming Renegade game has been totally optimized for NVIDIA based graphics cards. For what it is worth I think this is not good business and I think it is one more reason why I am staying away from all Westwood and Mad Onion products. If I am not mistaken, is not Renegade built upon a modified UT engine? Why would we need a performance analyzer for a game that is being SPONSERED by a figgin graphics card company. Sure I can see maybe Westwood and Mad Onion teaming up, but throwing NVIDIA into the fray just makes me shudder as it makes me wonder what is being done to game to make them MORE compatible with NVIDIA boards and less compatible with other boards. You have to know the analyzer will be pro-NVIDIA as they are in the business of selling video boards. Also, this makes me question the real motives of Mad Onion. Are they in fact a company that is impartial to graphics cards with their benchmarks. Seeing them teaming up with NVIDIA has me shaking my head. Oh well, what can we do about it!!!!!!!
If you want to try the performance analyzer out, hit this link at bottom of page. Just for the record my system scored 100%, which means the game will run just fine. But wouldn't you know it, it was recommended I buy a new video card and they were all NVIDIA based boards.
good old nvidia!
yapay here is a company that I would like to suport...
and I know that the new mx200 can beat easily the radeon 8500... yes I know....
