I don't have the game so I don't know, but not everyone is running high end video cards. Some people have older video cards that are SLI'd..

Unless you're running 4K, you're not going to see the full 50%

Should still get a nice boost though..

Lots of unhappy people over on NVIDIA's driver feedback forum. Seems that the 400/500 series cards are broken pretty bad by this driver and the last few. I'm rocking SLI 780's and may just hold off moving forward for another release.

Does anyone else feel like both NVIDIA and AMD are focussing too much on non-essential features (3D, surround, etc) with their driver development and not so much on having rock solid drivers for the remaining 99% that don't use those features?

Can you recommend a good driver? My pc with duel 780's will be here in the morning. I"m gonna try the new drivers first but if any problems a good backup would be great.

Just use the latest driver. It's fine. The majority of the posts at the nvidia forum are serious PEBKAC issues.

QFT. Lots of people continually have driver issues, most of them caused by unstable overclocks and general system instability..

The new Nvidia drivers seem to give a better graph when using SLI, meaning more consistent in game fps. Seems like a slight performance boost as well, but I didnt note the previous frame rate before I updated the drivers.

It's older cards not really being supported properly I suspect. Everything since the early 320.x series has been fine on a 770 but semiregularly crashes if hardware acceleration is enabled in firefox/IE on a 560 ti. I'm sure the issue is intermittent or it would have been fixed, but it's not a new pattern.

I tried these and they seriously reduced performance in Tomb Raider and few other older games.

Not a good set of drivers by most accounts. Nvidia standards are slipping, that quite a few bad driver released from the Green Team.

Nvidia is focusing right now incredibly hard on video benchmarks and I think its to kill off any chances of AMD claiming they have a better lineup for users. This driver is causing huge issues for a large portion of cards from the 500 series and below: I'm going to bet this is due to no testing on those cards because they don't really give a damn about the performance a model that is discontinued. They probably see it as even more of a reason for the consumer to buy a brand new card from their GPU money printing press!

I love NVIDIA and it's ease of use drivers compared to Catalyst, but if they stop caring about driver support then I have zero reason to buy their cards for low/midrange clients over cheaper AMD cards that have just as horrid drivers.

I rolled back on my drivers to 327.23 so I could use the older pre stream version of the GeForce experience. The newer versions add an extra minute to my boot time plus they lag while playing games.

Yea mine no longer works. I think I'll have to re-install.

For the driver, I got about a 10-15% boost in BF4.

It doesnt effect mine, but I used a method link in the lightboost thread which made it so that I wouldnt have to reconfigure it. I dont remember specifically what it was, but its in the thread.
