Is anyone having any trouble with their Geforce2 OEMs? I am using an Abit BH6 BX board and am having a lot of trouble with mine while running Windows 98se. I previously had a TNT2 Ultra AGP 32 meg in this computer, and am running a celeron 333a@416 with 32 megs of pc66 and 64 megs of pc100 ram. My TNT2 ran fine at 83mhz agp bus. I also had friend's Voodoo3 2000 pci running fine just the other day. I put the Geforce2 in yesterday, and all of a sudden half of my pci slots did not work anymore. I realize this is an Abit problem, however. I manged to get all of my cards working but my geforce 2 is very unstable. It is not overclocked and I tried both Detonator 5.22 and 6.01 drivers. No difference. It usually puts up with windows, although I notice a few graphical anomalies from time to time such as odd colors or icons. I tried the card at 83mhz, 55mhz, and 66mhz, all of which produce the same results. Furthermore, Opengl, although beautiful when it runs, rarely works. After a few minutes of playing QIIIA or Half life the screen goes blank and my sony cpd-g400 19" goes into power save mode. (The computer is still running, apparently. The screen did this while burning a music cd yesterday--I left the computer on and the cd finished and was fine (!) Adaptec 4.0 ez cd creator was the only program running.) Any help would be appreciated. I am planning to put the V3 back into this computer and using the geforce2 in my new cusl2/700e when they come, but will I have the same problems? I am simply curious why the card misbehaves on my system.
