Funny how the card ended up looking exactly like the picture everyone was calling a Photochop mess. But at $400 I say its a pass. $350 would have been a green light for a lot of people but at only $100 difference might as well get the card that isn't cut down.

Gtx 570 was $350 on release as was the Gtx 470. Its true both those cards had ram and bandwidth cut out as well but $400 is still hard to swallow.

Hate to break it to you,

But I just recently got a MSI H61 Motherboard with a big spelling error on the back of the box. It is quite noticeable too. I for the life of me can't remember the error though (It was less than a month ago). I put the box in my storage unit I rent. I'll have to check it next time I see it.

Looks like they did it so they could move the fan to the very edge of the card. Maybe for better sli temps? It does seem strange that nvidia moved to the stacked configuration on the gtx 680 so they could move the fan up as to line up with the rear vents. But with the gtx 670 they would move the fan back to the center and to the edge of the card instead.

I don't mind that NV is experimenting with PCIe placement rather than just sleepwalking and using the same ol' same ol' placements. If these new placements are better placed then that is good. I guess time will tell. I don't think it will be a problem, though.

Probably in between the HD 7950 and 7970 but closer to the 7970, but sure. It will probably be 15% slower than the GTX 680. Alas, the GTX 680 is ~8% faster than the HD 7970.

Gtx 670 is for real despite the typo. Side note: Hoya HD UV filters come in boxes that have typos on the box. It took a while for people to realize this, but ultimately the consensus was that if a box did NOT have that specific typo, it was a counterfeit. Haha.
