I live in Calgary now, and in the beginning of december it was nearly -50 with WindChill, but you just wear an extra pair of socks and some warm glvoes and you're fine. Life goes on. I really don't like the heat either, but they probably get used to it, and wouldn't like the weather in winnipeg or calgary anymore than we would in California. But it's not like it's that cold for 9 months of the year...I'm just getting tired of people that think Canada is a giant igloo.
