Not bad. Immensely better than the last couple of demos AMD has released.

The screenshots look infinitely better than the youtube link. The trees at the beginning of the youtube video look blurry, while in the screenshots everything is spectacularly sharp.

default I get 35fps. I didn't know about any trick for SLI. How did you get the overlay to display? I tried to make it appear and it did not.

msi - 'overlay' only appears using the 32 bit exe. , same behavior in 3Dmark11.

go to folder where the program installs, you will see the 2 .executables.

I see...yeah I use PrecisionX (same guy wrote both) and it didn't work in the 64bit app. Thanks. Renaming to AFR-FriendlyD3D.exe actually turned off SLI for me and gave 0% GPU usage on card 2 so I used the default name for the .exe file.

My driver must not have a SLI profile (at least for 460 series), where yours does. That's what will happen in the above situation.

I get 12-15 fps with rig in sig with a SLI trick, rename the 32 bit .exe to AFR-FriendlyD3D.exe
And that is at various resolutions, what are people getting with gtx 6xx's ?

*snip

I'm not entirely sure if that's safe for work. That's a lot of ass showing.

That's a good point.:|

Guys, in the spirit of not getting people fired over CGI fairy T&A, please don't inline any images of the demo in this thread.

-Thanks

40fps with sli 670s at 1920x1200 is pretty pathetic for this demo I think. I am not seeing the reason for it IQ wise. I do notice it is using all available vram for me. Anyone with a 4GB card here that can tell us the memory usage for them?

Agreed. Given the IQ of the image being rendered compared to other playable games, a 670 SLI rig should crush the dawn demo. 40fps does not computer.

My rig gets ~10fps, i'd expect better IQ from a demo rendering my rig this useless.

Dawn's face impressive though. But backround and everything else did not impress me.

NSFW? Seriously? Sounds like Saudi Arabia or something?
Our technical forums are a popular distraction and/or resource for office workers. T&A has always been the antithesis of professionalism, so employees viewing it can be sacked for disrupting the workplace. We'd rather not get people fired; it tends to discourage them from coming back.

Oh, you'd be surprised how puritanical a lot of people can get over the slightest hints of T&A. Understandably, they do it at work more for covering their collective legal a*ses, but still.

Is there anything more pointless than tech demos? Does anything released ever look anything close to the tech demos released for the given generation?

amd's "Leo" demo uses the same light used for dirt showdown

i am not sure to what see in this demo...tesselation?

I guess some people here don't work for the SEC.
