well, to be honest, if something performs very well companies usually leaking the good news and "injecting" forums with stuff like "this is the best thing since sliced bread" and also as always somebody gets a sample months before the release and tells us how good this thing performs...
Intel's Conroe for example. We all knew that it will be a killer. Nothing was known about AM2 almost until the release, cause it sucked. Well, these are CPUs.
If company knows that its product going to rock it will try to keep customers to hold on with other purchases and wait for their own release but for a good reason. So far I do not see any good reasons, except a few posts like: Performance: D, FSB will be able to handle 500+. However, no proofs cause of NDA... Hello, the release in on November 8th!
I truly hope that I'm wrong and 680i will be the best thing since sliced bread but I need to see the results.
